Public Square Press welcomes manuscripts across a broad range of genres, including:

Manuscripts are reviewed individually for potential acceptance.
For children's books and illustrated manuscripts, authors must provide completed illustrations or independently arrange for an illustrator. Public Square Press does not currently offer in-house illustration services.

What Our Services Do Not Include
Public Square Press does not currently provide physical printing, binding, inventory, shipping, or fulfillment. Authors contract directly with their selected printing providers. We may recommend printing providers, but we do not guarantee their services or production results.
Custom illustrations, extensive editorial revisions, and specialized production requirements are quoted separately.
Our services do not include retail placement, and we do not guarantee book sales or marketing results.
Beyond the Book
For authors seeking to establish a recognizable brand, grow an audience, or develop a long-term marketing strategy, Public Square Strategies offers separate professional consulting services.
These may include author branding, positioning, website strategy, audience development, and promotional campaign planning.
Public Square Strategies services are optional and contracted independently from Public Square Press publishing services.
Publishing Services — Custom Proposals Available
Every manuscript has different editorial, design, and production requirements. Public Square Press provides individualized publishing proposals based on the scope and complexity of each project.
Editorial Selection
Public Square Press is an independent, selectively curated publishing house.
All manuscripts are considered at the sole editorial discretion of Public Square Press. We reserve the right to accept or decline submissions based on our editorial judgment, publishing vision, business priorities, and applicable law.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance, and we are under no obligation to provide an explanation for a declined manuscript.
What We Look For
We publish fiction, nonfiction, Christian literature, romance, inspirational writing, children's literature, and other thoughtfully selected works. We value clarity of voice, depth of vision, and stories that leave a lasting impression.
What to Include
Use the form to tell us about yourself and your project. Include a brief synopsis if you have one — no need for a completed manuscript at this stage.
What Happens Next
We review every inquiry personally. If your project aligns with our vision, we will reach out to discuss next steps. Response times vary, but we aim to be thoughtful and timely.
